convinient on/off freeway, nice room
staff at check-in not particularly friendly or as interested in customers as her personal phone call
Excellent motel but in out of the way location, unless you have own transport.
Comfortable and pleasant stay. Laundry facility was small, but clean.
Location and price
lampshades looked like they had been crushed. They should have changed them.
Very clean rooms. Fitness center and laundry.
The bathroom door for some strange reason opens out instead of into itself. There is plenty of swing room for the door inside the bathroom. Not sure what the architect was thinking. This sometimes interferes with other members of the group going in and out of the room. Breakfast is paltry for a 3-star inn.
Superbly clean and comfortable room, lovely pillows. so unlike other motels, good order-in service for meals, if wanted, wi-fi good, no criticisms at all.
Very spacious and clean room. Helpfull staff. Nice waffle breakfast. All was ok! Probably the nicest hotel i have stayed in for such a low price.
Neighbourhood is still ok, nearby freeway but wouldnt go anywhere on foot after dark .
The location is close to down town. The people that work there are very nice. The breakfast was good and the area was very clean..The only thing that I saw wrong with the place is the room I was in the chair was riped and the floor lamp had to be plug and unplug to make it work. The handle tha control the stopper in the sink was missing and you could not close the stopper.. Other then that the place was very nice..
It was very clean, very good price, great location. I would stay here again.
only used it as a stop over for Vegas-San Fran. Ideal in this respect. Came with breakfast, a goo size room and wifi.
Made to wait until 4pm before we could check in.
It was right down the street from a Starbucks that had a very friendly and competent staff, who prepared a perfect Grande Americano with add-shot!
The best thing about this place was the close proximity to a liquor store because we needed a bottle of Scotch to drown out the nauseating odor that emanated from the room! To this day I can't put my finger on exactly what the smell was but it seemed to be a combination of cleaning chemicals, perspiration and embalming fluid.
We mainly chose the hotel because it was cheap, and because Bakersfield is halfway between Monterey and Death Valley. The room was spacious and clean.
The hotel is somewhat charmless. Breakfast is served on throwaway platters and cups. The location of the hotel is not too pleasant to walk around in after dark.
Excellent value for money rooms, we used as a stop over on our journey to San Francisco
the bathroom is ok!!!!
the room, the bed and the moquette are dirty!
location and price
Breakfast was scant apples were old. Tthin walls made the noise in the room above us impossible to sleep up to one o'clock in the morning because of slamming doors and scuffling feet. Too much noise!
